99p yoga class + a new Monday Yin session

🎉 New Booking System: Try it for 99p

We’ve built our own booking system for Love Yoga Crew, custom-made from the ground up so we can offer you a better experience. Your details stay with us rather than passing through a third-party platform, everything is hosted securely within the EU for extra data protection, and payments are handled safely through Stripe. It’s quick and easy to use, and easy to see too.

To celebrate (and give it a proper test run) we’re offering a Breathwork & Yoga Nidra session for just 99p. A calming hour combining guided breathwork with Yoga Nidra, using the breath to settle the nervous system before moving into stillness for a deeply restful practice often described as “yogic sleep.” Practice lying on the floor, the sofa, or your bed, the perfect way to close your weekend. Suitable for all levels, no experience needed.

This class takes place on Zoom (no app needed, just join from your browser), and we’ll email you the join link shortly before it starts. Afterwards, we’ll ask you a few quick questions about your booking experience to help us improve the system.

  • The longest day, and a new Monday evening for you

The longest day, and a new Monday evening for you

Today is the summer solstice. The longest day of the year.

The light has been arriving earlier and staying later for weeks now, building up to this. From here, it turns. The days will start shortening again, a few minutes at a time, so slowly we will not feel it until autumn. There is plenty of summer left to enjoy.

You do not need a mat, a candle, or a free hour to mark a day like this. You only need to notice it.

So here is a small invitation. At some point today, step outside, or sit by an open window. Feel the warmth on your face or your hands.

    Try this with me.

Inhale, and let your arms rise, scooping up all that light and warmth. Exhale, and bring your hands to your heart centre, gathering it in. Do that three or four times, slowly. That is it. That is the whole practice.

This is the heart of what we do at Love Yoga Crew. Yoga is not a performance and it is not a test. It is a way of coming back to yourself, whatever shape that takes on a given day. Some days that means a full flow. Other days it means a few breaths in the sunshine before the kettle boils.

A new way to spend Monday evenings

From 3 August, I am starting a new weekly Yin class at 6.15pm at Renfrew Wellness Hub. A slow, supported practice to settle the nervous system and ease into the evening.

All bodies and abilities welcome. No flexibility or experience required. Booking opens soon, watch this space.

Wishing you a warm and easy longest day, wherever you are.

    Peace & love,
    Stephanie

  • Give Love. Gain Power. Together We Flow.

Give Love. Gain Power. Together We Flow.

Honouring the strength, resilience, and grace of women everywhere this International Women’s Day.

Today we pause to celebrate something we feel every single time we step onto the mat together. The power of women showing up for one another.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme is Give to Gain, and honestly, it could not feel more fitting for our community here at Love Yoga Crew. Because if yoga has taught us anything, it is this: when we pour into each other, we all rise. When we share our energy, our time, and our presence, it comes back to us tenfold.

Yoga is not a solo practice, even when we are breathing alone. Every class we attend, every encouraging smile across the room, every hand offered to a newcomer finding their feet, all of it builds something bigger than ourselves. It builds community. It builds strength. It builds belonging.

The women in this crew inspire us every single day. The ones who show up tired but show up anyway. The ones who cheer each other on from their mats. The ones who have been practising for years and the ones who walked through the door for the very first time last week. You are all part of what makes this crew so special.

On this International Women’s Day, we want to honour every woman who gives her energy, her grace, and her heart to this community. Your presence matters. Your strength matters. You matter.

Keep supporting each other’s growth, one breath at a time. That is how we flow forward, together.

Happy IWD2026 from all of us at Love Yoga Crew. 💜🧘‍♀️

Welcome Back: A Personal Update, A New Website & February Gifts

It has been a while since we last posted an update, and there have been quite a few changes here at Love Yoga Crew. As we step into February, we wanted to share some personal news, show off our fresh new look, and offer you some gifts to support your wellness this month.

    A Personal Update

Many of you will be aware that Douglas has spent some time in hospital recently. I am very pleased to report that he is now home and making a recovery.

Douglas and Stephanie smiling together in a restaurant beneath a bright red neon sign that reads "MAKE SOME TROUBLE".
After all that hospital food, Douglas was delighted to have dinner at Pizza Punks!

He is back to work next week, and we hope to have our studio classes back to normal as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and well wishes during this time.

    A Fresh New Look

While Douglas has had some downtime during his recovery, he has been busy revamping the Love Yoga Crew website.

We are thrilled to launch the fresh new design. It is cleaner, faster, and easier to navigate. Do take a look around at loveyogacrew.com.

    Your February Wellness Gifts

To celebrate our return and support you this month, we have curated some free resources for you. Please feel free to share these with friends, family, or anyone who might enjoy them. There is no gatekeeping here. We want these tools to reach anyone who needs a little boost.

    • Heart Sanctuary Meditation: Our monthly meditation for February is out now. Take 12 minutes to come home to yourself with this free guided chair meditation. It offers a gentle space to swap self-judgement for a little February heart-warmth. It is perfect to listen to whenever you need a reset.
    • Daily Mantra Puzzle: If you need a little inspiration for a positive mindset, try our new puzzle feature. It reveals a different affirmation every day.

  • Yoga for Mental Health: Finding Calm When the World Feels Overwhelming

Yoga for Mental Health: Finding Calm When the World Feels Overwhelming

Today is World Mental Health Day. It’s a vital reminder of the importance of good mental health and how we must consciously prioritise and invest in our well-being.

We all have mental health, just as we do physical health, and both are likely to change, be stronger or weaker, at different times in our lives.

The theme of this year, “access to services—mental health in catastrophes and emergencies,” highlights the incredible challenges people face globally. And while major crises dominate the news, we’re all dealing with a low-grade ’emergency’ of our own: the daily stress, anxiety, and constant overwhelm of modern life.

When the world feels hard, where do we find our personal access point to calm?

Embracing the calm. This evening’s salt cave yoga session was a beautiful reminder of how we can find peace, even when the world feels overwhelming. #WorldMentalHealthDay

I’m no stranger to poor mental health myself. I was lucky to survive a serious eating disorder decades ago, but I clearly remember the crippling anxiety. All these years later, I’m navigating a different kind of anxiety as my body undergoes hormonal changes. As dramatic as this can feel, I remind myself that this is a transition, and balance is achievable and in my future.

Of course, as a yoga teacher, I’m going to tell you that yoga helps, but it truly does! My practice and my teaching have changed drastically. I used to be all about the strong and dynamic flow, a ball of energy.

Fast forward to today, and my mission is different: to bring a little bit more calm to myself and those around me. I love to focus on calming and reassuring the nervous system by slowing the breath and moving more mindfully.

I’ve found particular value in Yin yoga, where we hold postures for extended periods. This slow, gentle practice targets the deep connective tissues and is incredibly valuable for training the nervous system to switch from ‘fight or flight’ to ‘rest and digest.’

My routine of practicing Yoga Nidra (or ‘yogic sleep’) every night before I sleep has brought me much more sleep and much less insomnia. Allowing tension to melt away and for the body to reset is truly magical and feels so much better than the state of constant readiness that we are often in without even realising.

Please know, I am no doctor or health professional, and I’m definitely not qualified to replace these people. But what I can offer is a calm, tranquil space and proven tools to ease the body and mind.

Using yoga to help find peace myself has been transformative, and I love sharing that with others.

If you would like to join me in finding your own calm through movement and breath, please check out LoveYogaCrew.com or get in touch to chat.

    Peace & love,

    Stephanie

  • A holiday pause and class reminder

There’s something special about the sea when it’s calm. I’m in Oban just now, taking a little break, sitting with a drink and looking out at the water. The light is soft and golden, the boats are barely moving, and everything feels a bit slower.

It’s in moments like this that I remember why I practise yoga. Not for the poses or the perfect stretch, but for what it brings me in the quiet moments. The feeling of pausing. Breathing. Noticing what’s around me and what’s happening inside.

This kind of stillness doesn’t always come easy. Life moves fast. But when I take time to slow down, even just a little, I find something steady underneath it all. That’s what yin yoga gives me. And it’s what I try to share in class too. A space to stop, to soften, to feel supported.

Just a little reminder that there is no class tomorrow as I’m still on holiday. Monday night is already fully booked, but there’s still space on Tuesday morning if you’d like to join me.

    You can book here:
    👉 click to book

I’d love to see you there. And in the meantime, I hope you find a little stillness of your own this weekend.

    Peace and love 💜

  • A Little Magic, A Lot of Salt

What a fabulous time we had at the salt cave today!

We enjoyed calming, relaxing Yin yoga in a truly magical space.

The first time we visited, we brought mats and towels, but now it’s all about getting in and around the salt itself!

We have quite a few salt cave classes coming up, but they’re already fully booked. I’m planning to add a couple more soon.

If you’d like to be added to the interested list, just let me know and I’ll keep you updated with the new dates and times.

  • Tuesday Mornings Are for Gentle Yoga in Paisley

Tuesday mornings are dedicated to Gentle Yoga 💜 I couldn’t be enjoying these classes more in this beautiful studio. Bright and spacious it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind and today the warmth of the sun was glorious!

In these classes I’m most concerned with us all feeling comfortable in our bodies. It can be harder than we think to let go of tension, that sometimes we don’t even realise that we are holding.

As I age (it’s almost my birthday!) I’m slowing down and spending less time on my head and more time with my eyes closed and focusing on what my body needs. In today’s busy life, where I’m back to being a city chick the importance of balancing the Yang with the Yin ☯️ is even more precious.

If you fancy joining us next week, I’d love to see you. It really is a lovely treat for your body, mind and soul.
